Directions

Arrowhead Park is accessed from I-35E at exit 457a on the North East end of the bridge over Lewisville Lake. After exiting off highway make quick right and proceed to Arrowhead Park entrance.

Arrowhead Park

This park is open year round between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. each day. This natural day use park is leased from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek. The park offers:

  • 2 Boat Launch Ramps with 6 launch lanes
  • 2 Restrooms
  • 8 Picnic Tables
  • Blue bird and Purple martin houses
  • Courtesy dock
  • Pavilion
  • Playground area

Boat launch fees apply daily ($10/trailer) as well as day use fees ($5/vehicle). Citations will be issued to all vehicles not displaying proper paperwork and payments. Park fees are collected at the new Pay Station located at the entrance to the park. The Pay Station accepts credit cards and cash (exact change only). Checks are no longer accepted at Arrowhead Park.

To reserve the pavilion call Town Hall 940-497-2528 for an application. Daily pavilion rental is $75 with a refundable $50 clean up deposit
