Trash & Recycling Services

Trash and Recycling is serviced for Hickory Creek residents every Thursday. Should a major holiday fall on a Thursday, trash and recycling will occur that Friday. Call Republic Services at 972-316-0789 for a missed pickup.  

Bulk Trash Pick-up

Bulk trash pick-up is every Thursday. Residents can place up to 1 cubic yard (the size of a kitchen stove) curbside weekly. Visit Republic Services for a list of acceptable/unacceptable items. 

Dumpster Rental

Whether you need a simple roll-off dumpster for a one-time haul, or an ongoing removal program, find the right size dumpster for your next project. Republic Services will offer a roll off container to current residential customers at a 25% discount. Call Republic Services at 972-316-0789 to start the order process.

Hazardous Chemicals

Curbside Household Hazardous Waste Republic Services will collect electronic waste and hazardous chemicals from your home on an on-call basis. Call 469-451-3713 or email HickoryCreekHHW@republicservices.com to schedule a pick-up. 

Landfill

Hickory Creek residents are allowed to dispose of one standard pickup truck bed (max 3 cubic yards) of waste per month at the Camelot Landfill in Lewisville, Texas ( 580 Huffines Blvd., Lewisville, Texas 75056 ) at no additional charge. Material must be covered by a tarp by state law. Residents must bring their current bill and driver’s license with Hickory Creek address.
