Public Works

The Town of Hickory Creek is accepting applications for a position in Public Works (Monday - Thursday 6AM-2PM.) Ability to operate equipment such as a backhoe, dump truck, mower, weed eater and front end loader to perform various job duties maintaining streets and parks. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Inspect equipment before and after use, perform minor maintenance activities and report exceptional problems to supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Have the ability to perform physical tasks and handle moderate to heavy lifting. Ability to work in all kinds of weather and follow safety regulations. Pay depending on qualifications.

Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED; experience in backhoe operations; possession of class B CDL issued by the State of Texas. Successful applicants must submit to a background investigation and drug screen.
