Arrowhead Park

Directions: Arrowhead Park is accessed from I-35E at exit 457a on the North East end of the bridge over Lewisville Lake.  After exiting off highway make quick right and proceed to Arrowhead Park entrance.  

This park is open year round between 5 am and 10 pm each day. This natural day use park is leased from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek.  The park offers two Boat Launch Ramps with 6 launch lanes, two Restrooms, a Pavilion, 8 Picnic Tables, a courtesy dock, playground area, and blue bird and Purple martin houses.


Boat launch fees apply daily ($10/trailer) as well as day use fees ($2/vehicle).  Citation will apply to all vehicles not displaying proper paperwork and payments.  Park fees are collected at the new Pay Station located at the entrance to the park.  The Pay Station accepts credit cards and cash (exact change only).  Checks are no longer accepted at Arrowhead Park.
  
To reserve the pavilion call Town Hall (940) 497-2528 for an application. Reserve the pavilion for $25 and a $50 clean up deposit.

Sycamore Bend Park


This never seen before park is the best kept secret in Hickory Creek.  Located on the west side of I-35E further west of I-35E than Point Vista Boat Ramp and south of Turbeville Road at the South end of Sycamore Bend Road.  This park is open for picnics and boat ramps as of September 1, 2009.  This park is leased from the US Army Corps of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek.

This park will have primitive campgrounds for weekend rental in the near future.   Permits may be requested from the Town of Hickory Creek, 940-497-2528 Monday-Thursday from 7:30-5:30 & Fridays from 7:30-12:00

Harbor Lane Park

Directions: Located south of Swisher (FM 2181) go West on Turbeville Road turn south onto Harbor Lane and go through Harbor Lane Subdivision until you come to the Lake.

Harbor Lane Park is leased from the US Army Corps of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek.  This park has a beautiful playground area with picnic tables and benches and lots of privacy.   This park has no access to boat ramps.

Point Vista Park

This park is a beautiful place to fish, bring a picnic lunch and it has a great Boat Ramp with lots of parking and a floating deck to unload passengers. This park is leased from the US Army Corps of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek.  Restrooms were installed in October 2003 for the guest of Point Vista.

Tanglewood Community Park

This park is the only Town owned park in Hickory Creek which is located at the corner of Tanglewood and Robins Nest inside of Lakewood Gardens Subdivision (just off east Main Street). This park has a playground with swings, slides and picnic tables, benches and 1/2 Basketball Court.  This parks makes for a great place for kids to run around.

The Arrowhead Park Pay Station, located at the Park entrance, is now open.  The Pay Station accepts credit cards and cash (exact change only) for day use and boat ramp passes.  Annual passes may also be reserved at the Pay Station!  Make one quick stop as you enter then just place your receipt visibly on the dashboard.
