Adopt A street
Adopt-A-Street is a partnership between the Town’s Public Works Department, residents, and businesses to help keep Hickory Creek clean.
The program is simple – agree to adopt a specific street and clean the street six times per year in exchange for a sign placed on the street acknowledging your commitment.
How do I get started?

What type of commitment must I make?
You commit to cleaning up ½ mile stretch of road (both sides = 1 mile) within the Town limits for one year. You also commit to clean this stretch of road six (6) times during that year.
What supplies and support does the Town provide?
The Public Works Department will supply the trash bags. Of course, they will also pick up the filled bags when you call for collection. You leave these bags next to the Adopt-a-Street sign.
How do I find out if there is an Adopt-a-Street group in my neighborhood?
Contact the Public Works Director at 469/576-5094, or via email.
How do I report illegal dumping and graffiti?
If you witness illegal dumping activity, please call Public Works at 469/576-5094. When you call, be specific about the location, types of materials dumped, the license plate number of any vehicle involved, or any other information that will help us contact the responsible party.
