The Arrowhead, Point Vista & Sycamore Bend Park Pay Stations, located at the entrances to the parks, are now open. Pay Stations accept credit cards and cash (exact amount only – no change given) for day use and boat ramp passes. Annual passes may also be reserved at the Pay Station! Make one quick stop as you enter then just place your receipt visibly on the dashboard. A pass is required for all vehicles in the parks.
This park is open year round between 5 am and 10 pm each day. This natural day use park is leased from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek. The park offers two Boat Launch Ramps with 6 launch lanes, two Restrooms, a Pavilion, 8 Picnic Tables, a courtesy dock, playground area, and blue bird and Purple martin houses.
This never seen before park is the best kept secret in Hickory Creek. Located on the west side of I-35E further west of I-35E than Point Vista Boat Ramp and south of Turbeville Road at the South end of Sycamore Bend Road. This park is open for picnics and boat ramps as of September 1, 2009. This park is leased from the US Army Corps of Engineers and operated by the Town of Hickory Creek.
This park is a beautiful place to fish, bring a picnic lunch and it has a great Boat Ramp with lots of parking and a floating dock to unload passengers.
