John began his service as a councilman from 2002-2006. During that time period, he served as an EDC board member, liaison to the Hickory Creek Police Department, liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board, liaison to the Board of Adjustments, liaison to the Hickory Creek Court, and is currently the liaison to the Planning and Zoning Committee. John also currently serves on the Hickory Creek 501(c)3 Committee. In 2006, he decided to run for the Mayor position and is now serving his third term as Mayor.
Lynn Clark was first elected to the Hickory Creek Council in May 2007, then re-elected in May 2009 and May 2011. She has served at Mayor Pro Tem since May 2010. In addition to her Council duties, Clark is a founding member of the Hickory Creek Economic Development Corporation (since 2003), served as Treasurer from 2003 to 2008, and is the current President of the EDC.
I have a deep appreciation for the way our current Mayor and council govern and feel privileged to be a part of it. I will continue to emphasize community emergency preparedness, but want to join our council at building respect, trust, and compassion in our beautiful town.
I have proudly been a volunteer Hickory Creek Council member since May of 2007. I was re-elected in May of 2009 & May 2011, and have proudly served the citizens of Hickory Creek for the past four years. Its been my honor to work as a community liaison listening to your concerns and driving resolution to many of your needs.
I was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio (just north of Columbus) and grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have lived in Hickory Creek almost 7 years. My wife (Bry Kenney) and I have chosen to raise our two kids (MacKenzie 6 and Hogan 2) for the foreseeable future in Hickory Creek.
I was first elected to the Hickory Creek Town Council in May 2007, and re-elected in 2009, and again in May 2011. During the past four years I have served as Council Liaison to Planning and Zoning, Library Board, and currently serve as Treasurer on the Hickory Creek Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
