The Lake Cities Fire Department is a progressive organization located along the Interstate 35 corridor in Denton County. We protect Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores. Our fire district is approximately 30 square miles with a population of about 30,000. Lake Lewisville surrounds our South border, and Denton surrounds the North border. We currently operate out of two fire stations and a fire administration building. Our organization operates on the following principles:
The Lake Cities Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores.

How do I obtain an Outdoor Burn Permit?
To obtain a Burn Permit, fill out the online form and follow the criteria for the city in which you live. All of the areas that we serve are addressed on the web page dealing with outdoor burning, found under the Resources Tab on the Fire Department Homepage.
When are the Outdoor Warning Sirens tested?
The Outdoor Warning Sirens are tested on the first Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m.
Are fireworks permitted in Hickory Creek?
It is against the law to use fireworks within the city limits.
